March 26: The Sky is Bleeding
The sun was setting, but the horizon looked wrong. Instead of orange and pink, streaks of deep red and eerie green flickered in the sky.
Roman swore under his breath. “That’s not just aurora. Something’s messing with the atmosphere.”
Jas felt their skin prickle. The glitch on their tablet had been no accident.
Somewhere in the distance, a strange hum vibrated through the air, like a broken radio signal trying to tune in.
Then came the voice again. This time, the screen on Roman’s old laptop flickered to life.
"Mar-a-Lago… Siege… Ottawa… The Collapse… Canadian dollar… $4.44."
Jas’s hands tightened into fists. The past was leaking through.
