The next transmission was a blur of disaster.
Wildfires raged across California, unstoppable, feeding off dry land left barren by years of climate collapse. Entire cities vanished under choking smoke.
And then—the ice.
A satellite feed from 2025 flashed up. A massive ice shelf had broken free. The sea levels surged, flooding coastal cities. The screen zoomed in— Florida was disappearing.
Jas exhaled sharply. "We need to find more people."
