An Unnatural Phenomenon

 Wednesday: An Unnatural Phenomenon

The wind picked up as the trio continued their exploration around the tree. Jas felt a strange energy in the air, like static before a storm.

Then Ivy Mae gasped, pointing to the horizon. “Look!”

A rainbow arched across the sky, vivid and bright. But before they could marvel, a second appeared beside it. Moments later, a third emerged, creating a triple rainbow.

“That’s… not normal,” Roman said, stepping closer to Jas and Ivy Mae.

The colors were impossibly vibrant, shimmering as though alive. The tree’s leaves seemed to glow faintly, reflecting the rainbows’ light.

Jas’s heart pounded. “It feels like… like something’s watching us.”

The air grew heavy, and a low rumble rolled through the earth. The trio huddled close as the sky darkened further, yet the rainbows remained, defying the ominous weather.

“What does it mean?” Ivy Mae whispered, clutching the journal to her chest.

“I don’t know,” Roman replied, his voice unsteady. “But I don’t think it’s good.”
