Tuesday: Discovering the Knowledge

 Tuesday: Discovering the Knowledge

The trio sat beneath the tree, poring over the journal. The astronomical charts detailed rare celestial events, some marked with ominous warnings like “The Great Convergence” and “The Sky’s Wrath.”

“This isn’t just about survival,” Ivy Mae said, holding up a page. “It’s about preparing for something big.”

Roman pointed to a detailed drawing of a shelter built into a hillside. “Look at this—it’s like they knew the land would change.”

“And these herbs,” Jas added, reading aloud. “They’ve listed uses for everything—anti-venom, fever reducers, even calming agents.”

Ivy Mae paused, her eyes on a sketch of a plant she’d seen growing near the bus. “This one’s lavender. It’s listed as a treatment for bites and burns. Maybe the person who wrote this knew about the venom antidote too.”

The sky began to darken, clouds gathering ominously, though patches of blue sky peeked through.

“We should head back soon,” Roman said, looking up nervously.

“Not yet,” Jas said. “There’s more to this place. I can feel it.”
