A Sudden Change

Friday: The Calm Before the Storm - A Sudden Change

As the fourth week approached, an unexpected change swept over the beach. The sky, which had been so clear and bright for the past weeks, began to darken. The auroras returned, their twisted colors filling the sky like an ominous warning.

Something felt off.

Jas stood up from the fire and gazed at the sky. “It’s like the whole world is shifting again,” they muttered.

Roman joined them, his brow furrowed. “I don’t like it.”

Ivy Mae walked over with her sketchbook in hand. “I’ve never seen the auroras like this before. It’s like they’re…warning us.”

The calmness of the past weeks began to feel like an illusion as the winds picked up, turning the gentle breeze into a gusty gale. The air grew heavy, charged with energy. They knew, deep down, that something was coming.

“That’s it,” Roman said, his voice serious. “We need to prepare. Whatever this is, it’s not good.”

As they gathered their things, the ground trembled lightly beneath their feet, and the winds howled louder. It was only a matter of time before the full force of the storm would hit.
