Panic set in

 Wednesday:

Panic set in. The once-peaceful landscape had turned into a nightmare. The volcano had erupted in full force, sending a violent wave of destruction across the land. The ash continued to pour from the sky, and the ground shook with each explosive rumble. The heat was overwhelming, and the air was thick with choking dust.

"Roman, stay with me," Ivy Mae said, her voice panicked as she knelt beside him. "Jas, help me. We can't leave him."

Jas looked down at Roman, the determination in their eyes fighting against the rising terror. "We have to carry him. We can’t stop."

They lifted Roman between them, each of them supporting him as best they could. The weight of his body was heavy, and every step they took seemed like an eternity. The path ahead was almost impossible to see through the thick smoke and ash.

They ran blindly, moving only by instinct, but the heat kept pressing in, making it harder and harder to breathe. Every time they took a step, the ground seemed to crack and shift beneath them, sending more tremors through their bones. They had no idea where they were going, only that they had to escape before the volcano consumed everything.
